The Knit Dress / London Life Update

London life so far + the full-length version of your favourite sweater with an unexpected twist...

So friends, I feel it's time for an update on my London journey so far. Since moving here in August I have:

  • Started working as an assistant to amazing stylist and former Interview Magazine Fashion Editor, Karl Plewka
  • Worked on styling international shoots for photographer Tomasz Gudzowaty's new book
  • Worked on show prep and backstage at Julien Macdonald's SS17 runway show at London Fashion Week and dressed Hailey Baldwin (spot me in the bottom left in my glasses 0:06-0:11 in this lil backstage vid!)
  • Worked on Wonderland magazine's November cover and editorial, shot by the incredible Ellen Von Unwerth
  • Attended a lovely blogger event at Pandora and met beautiful Rosie from The Londoner
I've hardly had a chance to breathe! I must say though, these experiences are exactly why I packed up and moved here and I'm so excited for what's next to come. I'll try to update you on my styling adventures as much as I'm allowed to so stay tuned if you love a bit of BTS action!

Meanwhile, the weather has officially turned and it's time to update my winter wardrobe. I wore this long navy knit dress to the Kristian Aadnevik show during LFW and received so many compliments! Exaggerated cuffs are still very much in and the open back adds a little unexpected twist to any piece of knitwear. Pair it with over the knee boots and a coat when you're out (I might do a little winter layering post with this dress soon), or lace-up heels if you're staying indoors. These suede khaki booties are super comfortable and have served me well so far.

  1. Sounds like you are doing great things in London - congrats on your big move. Loving this dress, definitely need some warm clothes for the british winter. I can't wait to visit myself next year :)
